Guidelines from the organizers

AICD AI App Makers: The AI App Builder Bake-Off is one online session: Thursday 7 January 2027, from 20:00 to 21:30 Paris time, live on Microsoft Teams.

What the session covers:
We give the same app idea to Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit Agent and Google AI Studio, live and side by side.
We compare speed, quality, data and sign-in, security, cost and lock-in, with a simple scorecard.
You leave with a checklist to pick the right builder for a side project, a startup or a school project.

Who we are looking for: Three to five builders or founders who ship with these tools every week, each on one tool, plus one judge with a security eye.

Formats. Live build (8 minutes): you build the session's app brief live with one AI app builder; every builder gets the same brief before the session. Security judge (20 minutes): you score the builds live and lead the comparison. One builder per tool. The session is in English.

Your time zone. The session starts at 20:00 Paris time. Builds are live, so choose this call if 20:00 Paris suits you.

Dates. The call closes on Sunday 13 December 2026 at 23:59 Paris time. We inform speakers by Friday 18 December 2026, and accepted speakers confirm within 5 days. Accepted speakers send their slides and a backup recording 2 days before the session, and join a short tech check on Teams at 19:30 Paris time on the evening of the session.

Product names are welcome in your title and abstract when your talk is about that product. This is a community event: no sales pitches.

How review works

From your proposal to the stage

  1. Step 1: Send your proposal

A title, an abstract and the format you have in mind. You get a receipt by email, and you can edit it until the call closes.

  2. Step 2: The local team reviews

The event’s organizers read and score every proposal against the same criteria.

  3. Step 3: You hear back

Decisions go out by email to every speaker, accepted or not. Your space on the site shows where each proposal stands.

  4. Step 4: Take the stage
