This session is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to SharePoint Embedded, a robust, cloud-based file and document management system that integrates seamlessly with any application through its API-only architecture. We’ll explore the foundational concepts of SharePoint Embedded, including its key features, benefits, and setup process. You’ll learn how to configure and leverage its capabilities to enhance data management, collaboration, and scalability within your applications. We'll also dive into best practices for implementation, supported by real-world examples to help you maximize the value of this innovative solution. In addition to the core SharePoint Embedded content, this session will cover: Integration with Copilot Studio to build intelligent AI agents that can interact with your data and automate workflows. Connecting with the Power Platform, highlighting the latest SharePoint Embedded connector announcement, and demonstrating how to integrate even without a dedicated connector. Strategies for enterprise developers and ISVs to drive efficiency, productivity, and innovation using SharePoint Embedded and Microsoft’s AI ecosystem. Whether you're just getting started or looking to deepen your expertise, this session equips you with the knowledge and tools to successfully integrate SharePoint Embedded and unlock new possibilities with AI and low-code platforms.
We all know OpenAI's ChatGPT is great, but it would be greater if we can run it within our private network. For some scenarios, we desperately need it. But how? Throughout this session, I'm going to introcude 3 local LLM servers - Ollama, Docker Model Runner and Foundry Local, and how it can be seamlessly integrated with our intelligent app using .NET Aspire and Microsoft.Extensions.AI. Extensions.AI 를 이용해 보겠습니다.
In this fast-paced, hands-on session, discover how Microsoft Fabric streamlines the entire AI workflow from data exploration to model deployment. You’ll learn how to use Notebooks for data science, train models, and generate predictions all within Fabric’s unified analytics platform. Perfect for data professionals and AI enthusiasts looking to get started with Fabric in just one hour.
As AI becomes deeply embedded in education, workplaces, and everyday life, people face two growing challenges — AI overreliance and digital overload. This session presents our research project from Sungkyunkwan University that explores how we can design a sustainable “AI–Digital Life Balance Framework.” We will share findings from global AI governance (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and Korea’s AI Basic Law) and user studies on human oversight, automation bias, and digital well-being. Participants will engage in an interactive discussion about practical strategies for maintaining human agency, critical thinking, and mental balance in an AI-saturated environment.
General-purpose LLMs and standard RAG pipelines fall short with deeply contextual, domain-specific tasks. In highly specialized fields, domain-expert queries are compressed, nuanced, and filled with implicit context, demanding a more sophisticated approach. This presentation introduces a field-proven framework for building agents that reason and act as domain experts. In the manufacturing industry, our agents deliver expert-level performance, reducing the time required for complex troubleshooting from hours to about a minute. Our framework begins with query augmentation, using deep domain knowledge to expand a user's query and uncover its underlying intent. Next, an LLM leverages this augmented query to perform a hierarchical search through a knowledge base built from expert problem-solving cases. Each retrieved case then acts as an executable blueprint, guiding a case-specific agent through a proven problem-solving process. Following this blueprint, the agent autonomously uses tools, executes multi-step reasoning, and self-corrects its path to generate a candidate solution. Finally, a self-evaluation module critiques and compares these candidate solutions—each derived from a different blueprint—and synthesizes them into a single, highly reliable answer. This presentation offers an actionable guide to building robust agents that deliver expert-level problem-solving. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to create systems that move beyond simple data retrieval to become expert-level problem-solvers in any domain where deep contextual understanding is critical.
Things are getting hot and heavy for AI, now that Microsoft (AI) Foundry is doing its sinister business. Forging devilish bots, torturing text and extracting diabolical knowledge, generating demonic cat images, or simply using someone else's not-so-malicious models (and then also the zero-humped Llama from a certain malevolent social network), and so much more villainy... Frontier AI is advancing faster than any diplomatic or governance framework in history. While the United States, China, Russia, the European Union, South Korea, Japan and other nations compete fiercely for leadership, the risks — advanced cyber threats, misuse of autonomous systems, and unintended escalation — are shared by all. This talk moves beyond the usual “US vs China” framing to examine the real landscape in 2025–2026 and highlight cooperation mechanisms that are already working or ready to scale: international red-teaming partnerships, model provenance standards, compute governance led by middle powers, and industry-driven secure-by-design principles. Attendees will leave with concrete, politically realistic ideas for keeping tomorrow’s most powerful systems safe in a multipolar world
Delivering tens of thousands of online lessons every day creates a fundamental challenge: how can we ensure consistent teaching quality at scale? Traditional manual observation is slow, expensive, and highly subjective. Our team at Skyeng has built an AI-powered lesson assessment system designed to address this challenge. The system leverages state-of-the-art multimodal analysis—combining video and audio streams of lessons—to capture lesson dynamics, balance of teacher and student talk, and engagement patterns. Through advanced engineering optimizations, the pipeline can process thousands of lessons per day, achieving an acceleration of inference while reducing operational costs. This makes industrial-scale assessment not only possible but also sustainable. Rather than replacing educators or focusing on errors, the system highlights patterns and trends that support teacher growth. For example, it reveals moments where learners may lose attention or where lesson flow can be improved. These insights allow educators to adjust their teaching practice, improve personalization, and ultimately increase student retention and satisfaction. In this session, participants will learn how cutting-edge AI methods can transform assessment from a burdensome process into a scalable, supportive tool for teachers and institutions.
