About John Adib
John Adib is a London-based engineering manager at Zapp, a former CTO and two-time founder with more than 18 years of experience building software products and teams. His work spans production AI systems, agentic engineering workflows, testing and software delivery. He leads practical adoption of AI agents in engineering, with a focus on verification, review quality and keeping human engineers learning. John mentors engineers through ADPList and coaches technical educators through WorldSkills UK. His previous speaking includes AI Coding Summit, JavaScript London, React Advanced London and the London Node User Group. He shares firsthand lessons, including the costs and failures alongside the gains.
